All children in Sheffield should have the right to get to school safely on foot.
We support School Streets* across the city.
However, the burden of creating safe travel to school should not be placed on individual schools and parent volunteers.
*What is a School Street?
A School Street is a road outside a school with a temporary restriction on motorised traffic at school drop-off and pick-up times. The restriction applies to school traffic and through traffic. Residents are exempt.
